Note: Catskill NY Recorder 1922 Grayscale - 0158.pdf = Mrs. Benoni Bronson, aged seventy seven years, died on April 16th at the State Hospital, where she was taken about 2 years ago to the great sorrow of her family and friends. The interment
took place in the family plot in Pleasant Valley, by the side of a little grandson, Earl Howard. The deceased was a faithful member of the North Settlement Methodist Church, and no weather was ever so severe as to keep her from services there. She was a normal school graduate and began
teaching in early life. Many a man and woman among us can recall her instruction and her Christian example, and not a few of these have testified how much they owed to her training.
She was a devoted mother, a fond wife and a kind neighbor, ever heeding the call of the sick and the needy. Sympathy is extended to her son, Corwin Bronson of Pleasant Valley, and her daughter, Mrs. Alfred Howard of Prattsville.
