FLINT ON ANCESTRY.COM: "Solomon Tuttle lived in DeKorra Twp., Columbia Co., WI next to his son-in-law Stephen Millard. They were from Palermo, Oswego Co., NY. Stephen and Mary (Tuttle) Millard came to WI about 1850. Solomon had land holdings in Columbia Co., but died in poverty and was buried at the then "poorhouse" at Wyocena, Columbia Co., WI. If there is a connection here, I would love any information other researchers would share. Solomon Tuttle appears in the 1870 and 1880 Census for DeKorra Twp., T9_1420 pg. 84D, ED 21. We estimate they came to Wisc. abt. 1850-52.
