Revolutionary War soldier. Pension application written by Andrew states that he enlisted in Mar 1777, and enlisted at that time for 3 years under Capt Davison and Solomon Baldwin. Was in New Haven in July when British invaded and fought them. Also was marched to Fairfield CT he states, "I was marched there to defend that place but they had burned every house except one, one that had a sick woman in it, and was set on fire three times, and as often put out by a young woman. This happened just as we got there, and we followed them to the landing, and we had a short engagement with them. In which engagement I saw one Ensign killed by the name of Gray and one soldier by the name of Blackman killed. There may have been more, but that's all I saw killed Revolutionary War Veteran. Father-in-law to Hezekiah Clark.-DTM
