  He bequethed his home on Walker St. and his estate, valued at $60,000 at the time, for the Augusta Boy's Orphan Asylum.
  Inscription:
 To the memory of Isaac Stiles Tuttle. A * of this city for the last fifty years.Born in Connecticut 31st Oct. 1784. Died 12th Dec. 1855. "Intelligence, Industry, and Integrity. Won for him in the smiles of fortune.And the respect of men. Unostentatious benevolence adorned his life. And his memory is embalmed in the hearts of the Widow and Orphan."

 p.272 of Alva Tuttle's book, Tuttle-Tuthill Lines In America, states Isaac had a stepson, George M. Newton, who left $200,000 to the Tuttle-Newton Home, orphanage in Augusta, GA.
