 "Hannah Tittle, b. Nov 2. 1655; m. Nov 7, 1672, Samuel Clark, prob. s. of John. He was on com. with Samuel Russell to "seat the meeting house" in East Haven, 1719. Feb 11, 1700, conv. "land laid out to my father John Tuttle, late of N. H. (New Haven), dec." In 1706 conv. to s. Stephen and to s. Joseph "land that I bought of Nathaniel Tuttle of Woodbury." "Mr. Samuel Clark d. Feb. 22, 1730; w. prov. March 1730; sons Samuel and Timothy execs.; s. Daniel to have one third of the movables, s. John one-third, and the rest equally divided among all my chd." A codicil in favor of s. Timothy, with whom the testator had lived, was wit. by Caleb Ball. "Mrs. Hannah Clark d. Dec. 21, 1708."
