 Married Thankful Tuttle, d/o Simon Tuttle & Hester Royce, 4 Oct 1774.
 About 1798-1800 they migrated about 100 miles NW of Middletown along the old indian trails used during the War, to Scholarie Co. NY, and settled at Gilboa.
 Judah served in the Revolutionary War, 1st Regiment, 4th Company, under General David Wooster, Major David Welch. He participated in the expedition that captured Fort Ticonderoga 10 May 1775, after which the cannon was hauled hundreds of miles through the wilderness from Fort Ticonderoga to Boston, arriving just in time to drive out the British troops. Judah discharged 13 August 1775 due to illness or injury.
