  Capt. Hezekiah Tuttle was a noted shipmaster of Fair Haven Conn. Began going to sea with Capt. Stephan Rowe to West Indies and Southern Ports. He was 19 when made Captain and never lost a ship. He Married Nancy Lanfair 1830.
