a. Note:   old to New England in 1635, and settled in New Haven, CT in 1639:
 "Sabrina Tuttle, b. May 4, 1792; m. in Springville, Susquehanna Co., PA, Sept. 1810, Benajah McKenzie, who went from Lebanon, Windham Co., Conn., to Springville in 1804. In that winter Mr. McKenzie and Capt. Bard went 20 miles to Merryall near the mouth of the Wyalusing river, for grain, and had it ground there, at Black's mill. He cleared 125 acres of his own farm and 53 of that of his father-in-law. Late in life, he sold his farm and bought a house and lot in Montrose. Just before his death (Feb. 9, 1872, in his 85th year) he was the oldest man in the borough; the member of the longest standing in the Presbyterian CC (church) and was held in honor by all. Mrs. Sabrina McKenzie d. in Bridgewater, PA., Sept. 20, 1851."
