Note: POSTED ON FIND A GRAVE WEB SITE: Birth: 1721 Stratford, Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA Death: Oct. 6, 1806 He was overseer of highways in 1759, 1760 and 1762, and Assessor of Morris Twp. from 1773 to 1775. He also served as High Sherriff of Morris County, and as a county judge. He was one of nine delegates from Morris County appointed to the State Convention in 1775 which chose delegates to attend the Continental Congress in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During the Revolution he served as paymaster for the Morris County Regiment of State Troops. He was married three times: (1) Joanna _____ (#12344181) in 1755; (2) Sarah _____ (d.1802); and (3) Dorothy _____ (d. 1804) Contributed by Dan Silva.
