 This record of marriage must refer to another Nathaniel Tuttle and NOT Nathaniel, son of Jonathan Tuttle and Rebecca Ball.

Adm. given 23 Oct 1728 to Esther, wid., and Jonathan, eld. son of dec., who had double part; Silence Turner, eld. dau., ss, Enos, Nathaniel, Ezra, and dau. Esther named. The wid., Esther, d. 1756; adm. given to son Ezra; inv. £475; Simon Tuttle, appraiser; Jesse Blakesley, commissioner. Land record, 1764, John Slakeslee cames "dau. Mary, that was the wife of Nathaniel Tuttle" (not understood)."

 2. Silence b. 1703, m: 2 Jan 1728 John Turner b. 4 Aug 1704 (son of Isaac who ws son of Isaac, who was son of Capt. Nathaniel). In 1735 they conv. to Hezekiah Beecher "land that was laid out to our g.f. Jonathan Tuttle." He m: (2) 7 Oct 1756 Mary Cornwall and d. about 1770, leaving minor dau. Mary, to whom Ephraim Turner was appt. guardian. Issue: Ephraim b. 16 Jun 1730, m: 2 Oct 1754 Rachel Wheeler of Wallingford. In 1779 he conv. to John Perkins land laid out to Thomas Tuttle, Jr. 1 dau. Ann b. 29 Apr 1755.
