 ". . .Yale College 1763, married Lydia SKEEL; went to Rutland, VT; 1777 disappeared mysteriously, supposed to have been murdered (Cothren). Among the officers from Woodbury in 1759 was Lieut. Nathan Tuttle. Of the Hezekiah Tuttle family of 6 sons, 5 sons were in the service of their country. Gideon marched to the relief of Fort William Henry in 1757, Nathaniel, Ichabod and Noah were soldiers in the Rev. Army."
