DEATH:
Chauncey died 23 Apr 1857 in Chicago, Cook County, IL. (I was not able to find documentation of this death date in Cook County records, however, I did find a Chauncey C. Tuttle who died 23 Apr 1899 in Chicago, age 79, making his birth year 1820. It would appear the Chauncey C. Tuttle who died in 1899 is NOT the correct one since the birth year is off by 17 years.)
