 "Of the 13 children of Nancy Caroline Tuttle and Andrew Washington Hood,, it will be observed that 5 died within a period of 10 days, two of them died at the same moment on the 24th of March, 1863. Cause--scarlet fever and diphtheria. Six of these children died within as many weeks."
