"Lucius Tittle, b. Aug. 7, 1776; settled in Wolcott, Conn., 1800, and died there July 7, 1865, age 89; merchant with his brother-in-law, SAMUEL BENHAM. "He was," says the historrian of Wolcott, "the most enterprising and energetic business man in the history of the town. He started the first freight wagon ever seen there and kept that and others running night and day, which added much to the prosperity of the town;" Married Dec. 19, 1802, REBECCA HARRISON, b. Aug. 5, 1784; died Aug. 10, 1870, age 86, daughter of MARK HARRISON who was son of Aaron, who was son of Benjamin, who was son of Thomas, who was son of Thomas, a first settler in Branford, Conn."
