Active in the field and on committees at home during the war of Revolution. He died Jan. 26, 1808; "he owned the farms of the late Jared Bishop and of Capt. Menson Cook."--History of Wallingford. In 1775, appt. guardian to CHAUNCEY ROYCE, minor son of Timothy. He married Dec. 4, 1761, Eunice, daughter of Ebenezer and Hannah (Bates) Hull, sister to Mary Hull, first wife of his cousin, Ephraim Tuttle." Children: 1. Amzi, b. 1762, m. Mary A. Kasson 2.
