"Mrs. Amanda Markle, a former well known resident of Bloomington and mother of Mrs. W. F. Browning, died in Lafayette on Thursday last, and the remains were brought to Bloomington for burial by the 4 o'clock train Friday afternoon. The funeral cortege moved from the depot to the cemetery where the services were conducted by Rev. H. V. Givler of the M. E. Church."
