"John and Dorothy Bill, son James age 23, and dau. Mary, age 11, came over in the ship, Planter, 1635, and had besides, probably Thomas and Philip. John Bill died in Boston, Mass. 10th month 1638; believed to be son of John Bill, bap. 1575, who appears in London, 1613, as publisher to King James, after receiving the royal license as King's Printer. The name of "Printing House Square" was given to his place of business, still so called, and the London Times is printed there. The American Bible Society has a number of Bibles with Bill's imprint.
