Note:   POSTED ON FIND A GRAVE WEB SITE: Eldest of twelve children of Noah and Rhoda (Tuttle) Fowler, Warren studied medicine under Dr Daniel Sheldon and took over his practice in Washington, Conn about 1796. He married Polly Hanford (b 1781) on Oct 28, 1801 and they had two sons, Henry H and George W, both of whom also became doctors.
 Dr Fowler joined the Congregational Church during the 'great revival' of 1821, and sang tenor in the choir. His house stood on the SE corner of the meetinghouse green.
