Phedrus was the son of William and Hannah (Tuttle) Strobridge.
Married Margaret Laird in 1815, their children were: Andrew L, Robert, Jane L, Isabel, Judith, James Harvey, Meroe C and Alexander M.
Son Andrew born in 1817 married first to Nancy Seaver. Married second Meroe Strobridge (his cousin), d/of E H Strobridge and removed to Wisc where he died in 1891.
Son Robert: 1818-1877
daughter Jane b 1820 married a Moore and also removed to Wisconsin.
daughter Isabell b 1822 married a Davis and removed to Wisconsin.
daughter Judith b 1824 married Smith Way and removed to Dakota.
son James Harvey, b 1827 removed to California.
daughter Meroe b 1829 married Henry Flint, residence was Rhode Island.
son Alexander b 1831 d 1872.
