Jacob R. Brenneman, aged 64 years, died at his home in Elida this morning at 9 o'clock, after an illness of five weeks and death was the result of general debility. He was born in Fairfield county, May 18, 1843. He was a merchant and conducted a general store at Elida for many years. Some time ago, he retired from business. The wife, two sisters and three brothers survive his death.
Funeral services will be held from the Radical United Brethern church at Elida, Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. Shearer will officiate and the body will be laid to rest in Greenlawn cemetery.
