WISHER, 85, died Sept. 17, 1998, at his residence. He was born Jan. 19, 1913, in Spencer Township to Charles E. and Flora B. Wolford Wisher. On June 16, 1946, he married Helen E. Rider, who also died Sept. 17, 1998. Mr. Wisher retired in 1973 as a machinist for Buckeye Pipeline Co. after 36 years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Spencerville. He was a 50-year member of Acadia Lodge 306, Free and Accepted Masons and a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54 and National Rifle Association. He was a life member of Northwestern Ohio Field and Stream Association since 1931, Bowersock Brothers Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 6772 and Harry J. Reynolds American Legion Post 191, both of Spencerville. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving as master ser- geant in Africa, Corsica, France and Germany. Survivors include a brother, Ray A. Wisher of Toledo; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, George W., Thomas O. and Ora Wisher; and three sisters, Katherine A. Wisher, Edna Tone and Zelma Davies. Joint graveside services will begin at 10:30 AM, Monday at Spencerville Cemetery. The Revs. John G. Medaugh and Ron Hennen will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by the VFW and American Legion. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Spencerville Library Building Fund. Arrangements are by Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville.
