Note: Richard W. Johnston's death certificate lists his father as Joseph and his birthdate as July 24, 1849 in Dublin, Ireland. However, Irish records show a baptisim record for Richard Johnston on July 26, 1849, at St. James's Parish, Diocese of Dublin. This date is two days after the known birth date, which makes this a good chance that it is the same person.
The church record lists the father as Richard and the mother as Mary Kenny. The sponsors are Patrick Keough and Mary Dowdal. The record is in Book #3, Page #55, Entry #846.
