a. Note:   BIOGRAPHY: "Willie May", Elizabeth, and "Mamie" Lefler were sold into"servitude" by their mother, Annie Vice, either just before o rjust after their father, William Lefler, died. "Willie May" and"Mamie" were sold for $100 and Elizabeth was sold for $50, as she was"sickly". After about four years, their bond was finished and the three girls were allowed to go free. Elizabeth attempted to contact Annie on a few occasions after her move to Detroit, Wayne Co., MI, but it is not believed that they had any type of relationship.
  BURIAL: Elizabeth was buried in the family cemetery of her 2nd husband, Earl McDonald.
