 MARY PIGEON Mary Pigeon, 89, 5526 N. Mississippi Avenue, widow of the late William Pigeon, died Tuesday at a local sanitarium following an extended illness. She lived in Portland 50 yrs. and was a member of Mallory Avenue Christian church.
 Mrs. Pigeon was born in Illinois, July 12, 1867. She was survived by a daughter, Esther Kind, of Hutchinson, Kan.; three sons, Fred Stude, Garfield, Kan.; John Stude, Copeland, Kan., and Arthur Stude, Harrison, Ark., as well as 24 grandchildren and 55 great-grand children.
 Funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the Little Chapel of the Chimes, followed by burial at Rose City Cemetery.
