Eddie Cantor Birthplace (19 Eldridge Street). Directly across the street from the Eldridge Street Synagogue, this was the purported birthplace of the well-known entertainer. 1948 - 1979 - Lived at 63-08 76th Street, Middle Village, Queens, NY (with her husband, daughters & mother, until her mothers her death in 1957) Her sister Anna heldthe mortgage for 20 years. When it was paid up in 1968, they had a big mortgage burning party.

Ethel and Joe travel the world. They enjoyed bringing back presents for their family and friends. So they braught an empty suitcase going and had it filled to the brim on the way back. They started in the 1950's and traveled yearly until about 1990. They have an extensive slide collection of their travels. Ethel's favorite place was Ireland because the scenery was beautiful.
