Note: e 77, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 28, 2014 at the Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence in Muskegon. He was born on April 18, 1937 in Muskegon, Michigan to Robert & Evelyn (Bethea) Bedgood. Sandy had served in the United States Marines. He had been a tax assessor in Mississippi, and he had been employed by CWC Textron in Muskegon. He was a member of the Twin Lake Gun Club, and he was a life member of the Seaway Gun Club. Survivors include three children; Sandra Atkin of Muskegon, Michigan, Charles Bedgood Jr., of Wyoming, Michigan, Steven (Rosalie) Bedgood of Fremont, Michigan; two grandchildren: Paul Koski, Sarah (Josh) Sprick; one great granddaughter, Lilly Sprick; two sisters: Margaret Hamil of North Muskegon, Michigan, Evelyn Croskey of Illinois; and by his sister-in-law, Janet Bedgood of Sparta, Michigan. Sandy was preceded in death by his sister, Bobbie Jean Bedgood; and by his brother, Robert Bedgood. An informal memorial and luncheon will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 2955 Valley Street in Muskegon, MI.
