Note: I, passed away at his home on Monday, May 19, 2014 with family by his side. Bob served his country valiantly and proudly with the Item Company, Third Battalion, first Marines in Korea. He married Janet Joy Snuffer on March 28, 1952 and was completely devoted to her. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Janet; children, Laurie and Jim Peterson of Whitehall, Lyn and Steve Johnson of Kent City, Suzie and Ron Woodward of Chester, CT, David and Barb Bedgood of Grant, Karen and Les Cameron of Tomball, TX and Becky and Lou Heidel of Somers, MT; 17 dearly loved grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Margaret Hamill of Muskegon, Evelyn Croskey of Fox Lake, Ill; brother, Charles Bedgood of Muskegon; a much loved sister-in-law, Phyllis Bedgood of Muskegon; son-in-law, Bruce Wagenmaker of Twin Lake; many nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held at 1 PM on Saturday, May 24, at Baily Christian Church. Inurnment Laketon Twp. Cemetery.
