Notes
a. Note:   N MISSOURI CITY
The announcement that Robert D Bedgood, a well known and very popular operator for the Wabash at this place, is soon to lay aside his bachelor life and become a benedict, will be read with surprise by his many friends.
Mr Bedgood is very reticent about giving out any information whatever, but did not deny the truthfulness of the information given us by some of his friends concerning his marriage.
The young lady who is to become Mrs Bedgood is Miss Mamie Huston, of Missouri City and the ceremony will be performed early in the month of June.
These young people have been sweethearts since childhood when both of them lived at Missouri City. About three years ago Mr Bedgood came here to work and since that time the correspondence has been steady and the visits of the young man to his former home quite frequent. Now the romance is to culminate in a happy marriage after which the young operator will bring his pretty bride to the Magic City to live.
There are no nicer young men than Bob Bedgood. His habits are all that could be asked and his friends are limited only to the extent of this acquaintance. The bride-to-be is known to many of our people and is spoken of in the highest terms as a pretty and talented young lady.
The Monitor heartily extends congratulations and best wishes.
