a. Note:   OBITUARY: FORMER RESIDENT PASSES Mrs. Daisie Hamill, 76, a former Shelby resident, passed away on Christmas Day at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Douglas Neilsen, in Roslyn, New York.
 She was married to Ray Hamill in Muskegon on August 21, 1911, and lived in Shelby from then until 1921 when they moved to eastern United States. For some time she was secretary to Mr. L. M. Haight, president of Amazon Knitting Mills.
 She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Laurel, Delaware.
 Arrangements are being made by the Lee Funeral Home in Muskegon from where services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 3:00 o'clock. Burial will be made in Oakwood cemetery.
