Osborne, along with Osbourne and Osborn, is an English name influenced by the Old Norse Asbjørn, name which is pronounced "awsbyern." The name means "God Bear". The English Os (see Ós) and the Norse As (see Aesir) mean God.

Located on the north side of Everett Road, just west of the intersection of North Medina-Line Road in Richfield Township OH. This cemetery is now maintained very well. Gravestones are all on the east side of the cemetery. The west side is all grass with no visible signs of gravestones. The cemetery is maintained by the Richfield Township. There may have been a church next to the cemetery at one time, but, it is now gone.
I walked and read this cemetery using a digital camera. I then compared my work with that of previous transcriptions compiled in 1996 by Marlene Diefendorf, 1978 by Judi Spencer & Geri Ellerbrock & 1975 by Imogene Bowen. I completed this transcription on Oct 01, 2006.
