Notes
a. Note:   From The Enterprise, Altamont, New York, Friday, June 20, 1941:
"Miss Ethel Flagler of Elnora and Erven Jones of Schaghticoke were married Saturday afternoon, June 14, at the Baptist parsonage by the Rev. Bailey Hathaway, pastor. Attendants were Miss Alice Flagler, sister of the bride, and Herman Spoonnoggle of Schenectady. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride for members of the immediate families. Mr. and Mrs. Jones have moved into a newly furnished home in Schaghticoke where Mr. Jones is in business. The bride is a nurse at Leonard Hospital, Troy."
Also had a farm, a gasoline station and an auto repair shop and a used car business while working at GE
Member of GE's Quarter Century Club
Was extremely proud of his Welsh heritage, loved Welsh music played on the harp and when words were sung in the Welsh language
Passed a lot of his knowledge about the Jones and Lesson families on to Doris Elizabeth Veronica Tulloch, our family historian (also a Lesson descendant) and wife of his brother Henry Norman Jones
He and Ethel were foster parents to a number of children beginning about 1965. Walter L. Freeman, one of those children, maintained ties with the Jones family until his death in 1991. For that reason he has been included here.
Funeral arrangements by the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, Clifton Park NY
