  From the Granville Sentinel, Granville, New York, November 22, 1918:
 "W. G. Morris was severely injured in Rising and Nelson's quarry last week Wednesday, when his arm was caught in an electric pump and terribly mangled, so that it had to be taken off at the shoulder joint. The sympathy of the community is extended to the family in this, the latest of their many afflictions."
  From the Granville Sentinel, Granville, New York:
 "Mr. and Mrs. William Kofel and daughters, Mary and Betty, of Clifton, N.J., and Mrs. Clarence Cannon of Newark, N.J., returned to their homes Saturday after having been called here by the death of their father, W. G. Morris. Their sister Mrs. Earl M. Watrous and brother Lewis accompanied them home, where they will spend some time."
