  In the 1867 "Return of Qualified Voters" for Walker County, Paul gave his date of birth as 28 February 1827 and born in Walker County, Alabama.

  Paul was married first to Kiseah L. Holocomb. She died on 18 May 1863. She died 6 days after the birth of her son George W. Ingle. There is some question as to the maiden name of Kiseah. William Ingle, (Cullman, Alabama) thinks that her name was Lovelady?
  The 1870 Alabama Census (Walker Co.) shows him living with his wife Sarah S. __________ with 9 children. Because of the ages given, 3 of these children appear to be the children of Sarah by a previous marriage; possibly to a man named ___________ GREEN. The names of the 3 children were given as Julia, Francis Green and William.
