Turner, 94, Monroe Manor, Woodsfield, formerly of Graysville, Ohio died Tuesday, May 10, 1994, in Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield. She was born June 6, 1899, in Monroe County, Ohio a daughter of the late Thomas and Mollie Baker. She was a former Monroe County Director of Public Welfare and a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ, the V. F. W. Auxiliary Woodsfield, American Legion Auxiliary Woodsfield, Pythian Sisters Lodge Woodsfield, Rebekah Lodge Woodsfield, Graysville Homemakers Club and Graysville Grange. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Mildred) Fliehman of Woodsfield, Mrs. John (Jean) Price of Jacksonville, Florida and Mrs. L. K. (Freda) Walker of Canyon Lake, Texas; a stepson, Eugene Turner of Marietta, Ohio; a nephew, Warren Eikleberry of Graysville; several nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Dee Cline; her second husband, Homer Turner; a brother, James G. Baker; a sister, Beryl Highman. Friends were received at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 13 with the Reverend Ted Austin officiating.
