Greenbrier, Monroe County, O. Nancy Cline died August 17th. 1887, at the residence of her son David Cline, who had kindly cared for her since the death of her husband - George Little Cline whose demise occured about ten years ago. She had been a member of the M E Church for over fifty years, and left pleasing evidence behind her tht she died the death of the righteous, and will join the loved ones gone before. She was the mother of six girls and five boys, and these together with a large circle of other relatives and friends mourn her loss. Nancy Cline was born in 1797, on the Ohio River, at the place where Grandview now stands, but which was then unbroken wilderness. She moved from the Ohio to the Little Muskingum and has resided at the latter place ever since. She lived to see the fifth generation of children and could say, "Arise daughter and go and see thy daughter." She saw the Indian living in his wigwam in this section of Ohio; lived before Ohio was admitted to the Union. The remains were interred by the side of her husband in the Jerico Cemetery. Rev. Potts conducted the funeral services, reading the 4th verse of the 46th chapter of Isaiah. Andrew Powell
