Willis A. Vanderpool of Pueblo died December 31, 1987. He was born June 17, 1932 in Hooper, Colo. He is survived by his wife, Lois of the family home; one son Randy of Garfield, Colo. one daughter; Dena NAVARRO, two grandchildren, Ryan and Shanda of Colorado Springs, Clo. One sister Erma JONES of Clayton, Iowa; numerous nephews and nieces and friends. He served in the Armed Forces during the Korean conflict. He was retired from Mountain Bell after 27 years of service. He had been active in 4-H and was a avid horseman. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Services were held on Monday morning in the Adrian Comer Garden Chapel in Publo with the Rev. Lester Farrington officiating. Interment was at 2:30 PM in the Rio Alto Cemetery at Moffat, Colorado.
