He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Cassity Vanderpool; a granddaughter, Amanda Jane Fox; his parents, Sheily and Carrie Omega Braswell Vanderpool; and by his father and mother-in-law, Fred and Hallie Hale Cassity. He is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Judy and Joe Dan Fox of Celina, Brenda Carter of Georgia and Jo Doris and Jeff Wortman of Lebanon; three grandsons, Scott and Heather Wortman of Winchester, Chas and Suzanne Carter of Franklin and Dan Fox of Celina; two granddaughters, Kimberly and Todd Upton of Celina and Rebecca Fox of Barlow; and by five great grandchildren, Corey, Trevor and Bryson Barlow and Ben and Emmy Jane Upton, all of Celina. He is also survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ruby Medley and Doris and Ted Donnell, all of Smithville. Pallbearers were Dan Fox, Chas Carter, Scott Wortman, Corey, Trevor and Bryson Barlow and Ben Upton. Serving as honorary pallbearers were David and Bruce Medley and Terry Cassity.
