Mr. Charles Raymond Vanderpool, 39, of 134 Hannah Pickett, Church Street, Rockingham, died Friday, April 2, 2004, at Sandhills Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 2, 1964, in Fort Meade, Md., a son of Raymond Vanderpool and Cloteen Daniel Vanderpool. He was a technician, veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Church of Christ, Rockingham. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Church of Christ with the Rev. West Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two daughters, Kristen M. Vanderpool and Charlese D. Vanderpool, both of Rockingham; a sister, Georgetta Vanderpool of Rockingham; and his grandmother, Sophie Vanderpool of Garrett, Ky. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Harrington Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to Church of Christ, P.O. Box 95, Rockingham, NC.
