Charles Stephen Vanderpool, 51, of Ceres died Monday at his home. Mr. Vanderpool was a native of Modesto. He lived in Ceres 51 years. He was a forklift operator at Tri Valley Growers for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Joan Wise Vanderpool of Ceres; children, Heath Allen Vanderpool of Sonora and Terri Mayhew of Modesto; mother, Thelda Fay Vanderpool of Ceres; brother, Daniel Wayne Vanderpool of Ceres; and sister, Karon Vanderpool; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Chapel of the Valley, Modesto. Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation Service, Modesto, in charge of arrangements.
