Charles A. Vanderpool, 78, died November 1st, 2006 at Saint Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach. He was born in Omaha, NE. He contributed and was instrumental to the development of Footlocker athletic stores. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Marguerite, and loving children Charles and his wife Sherry, Cynthia, and Richard. His two brothers, William and Clayton Vanderpool, and his sister, Sherry Scarcello. He was loved dearly by his seven grandchildren, Phillip, Zachery, Charles, Kyle, Rodman, Victoria and Holly. He was a former member of North Jersey Country Club in Wayne, NJ and Evergreen Country Club in Palm City, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Adopt-A Minefield UNA-USA 801 Second Avenue, New York, NY. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5,2006 from 2-5pm, at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach. A mass of christian burial will be held on Monday, November 6,2006 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach, at 10:00am. Entombment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart. Arrangements are under the care of Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach, FL.
