  Hi Bill, I stopped at the State Library and looked at the probate records for John McConkey, husband of Lodemia. There was information about his estate administration (left no will), his heirs, inventory, and sale of his property. No information about where he was buried... but the papers were filed in Hillsboro. Hope this helps some. (Janet Johanson, 22 Jun 2011, johanson3j@@aol.com)
  Dad's notebook on this family says he is buried in Rex Cemetery, northeast of Newberg. There is a Rex Hill Winery on Hwy 99w that is northeast of Newberg. Possibly in that area.
  I contacted Yamhill County Planning & Zoning. A gentleman there was kind enough to look through the records they have and a couple other areas to no avail. He then recommended I contact the Oregon State Mortuary Board, which I did. Again, there was kindness given and an attempt to locate the Rex Cemetery. The woman there said she could not find any record of a Rex Cemetery in the area indicated of Northeast of Newburg, Oregon. (Bobbi June Flowers, 9 June 2012)
