Charles & Effie had six children. They divorced around 1904/5 and Charles left the family and went to Idaho. Their son, Marion Charles, was placed in a foster home in Dec 1906, in Hillsboro, Oregon, stayed one day and took off and there has been no trace since. The four younger children were probably placed for adoption and we probably will never be able to trace them. Effie apparently kept Paul, the oldest, when she placed the others out for adoption.
