  Dayne C. "Bull" Durham Sr., age 76, of Navarre, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 in Aultman Hospital in Canton. He was born Sept. 9, 1935 in Mt. Vernon, Ark. to the late George Washington and Roma (Herrington) Durham. Dayne was a Navarre area resident for the past 39 years, retiring from Nickles Bakery, Inc in 1995 after 22 years of service. He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he served as trustee, usher and assisted with many kitchen duties. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, John Morgan; four brothers, Royce and Robert Durham, Harry and Larry Morgan. He is survived by his wife, Delores I. "Dee" (Gibson) to whom he was married 47 years; three sons and daughters-in- law, Blaine and Vicki Werner of Louisville, Bruce and Jana Werner of Bolivar, Dayne C. "Chip" and Christy Durham Jr. of Smithville; one daughter, Janette "Jan" Smerz of Navarre; six grandchildren, Jennifer Smerz, Brett and Krista Werner, Sydney, Grace and Daylea Durham; one great-granddaughter, McKinsey Smerz; one brother, Joe Morgan of Canton. Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church at 6011 Faircrest St SW, Canton 44706 with Pastor Larry Brown and Pastor David Crisco officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday 5-7 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. and one hour before services at the church on Thursday (10-11 a.m.).
