My name is Richard G. Vanderpool. I have some facts that should answer some of your questions about my line of the Vanderpool Tree. My father was Charles Breckenridge Vanderpool, born June 11, 1913 in Beattyville, Kentucky, Lee County d. 10/13/1976 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. His siblings were: George Vanderpool b. 05/02/1907, Maurice Vanderpool b. 10/31/1908, James H. Vanderpool b. 06/28/1911, Dorothy Vanderpool b. 06/01/1915, Bessie Vanderpool b 06/24/1919, Banford Vanderpool b. 01/03/1923. His first wife was Mary Ward and his second wife was Hilda L Losey (my mother). Charles' Parents were Ibzan Vanderpool and Susie (not Susan) Ray. My Grandfather, Ibzan had three stillborn siblings b. 1874 & 1875, and a sister George Ella Vanderpool b. 06/06/1878 all born in Beattyville, Lee County, KY. Ibzan's parents were Isaac Vanderpool b. March,1844 in Floyd County, KY and Rachel Cooper b. 04/17/1846. Isaac's parents were Abraham (Abe) Vanderpool b. March, 1822 in Scott County, Virginia and Amanda Estes b.1824 in Estill County, KY.
