  In many years of research of all the Vanderpool families, I have never found a shred of evidence that Keziah Vanderpool's father was a doctor, nor that she was born in Virginia. Her parents probably were Wynant Vanderpool [ca 1740-1830] and Amy Kinman. They were associated with the Samuel Pittman family in various localities in North Carolina, South Carolina and Kentucky in land, tax and church records.
