 Moved to Ord NE in 1900 when her father received a call to serve the Mira Valley and Scotia congregations. After her husband's death in Prescott AZ, she returned to her home south of Ord and in 1955 moved to her new home at Scotia, residing there until her death. During her life time, she was an active member of the St. John Lutheran Church at Ord and Zion Lutheran Church at Scotia and was an honorary member of the Ladies Aid of Scotia. She was a member of the Scotia Legion Auxiliary.
