 Lloyd was a farmer in Ord, but lost the farm to the bank. He moved to Denver in 1956, sold machinery, then life insurance, then became a postal clerk, retiring in 1980. He was active in the Gideon Ministry and in his local church. He and his wife loved to spend time in the mountains and traveling in their camper.
