Note:   Fritz was a young man of splendid habits, of a jovial disposition and kindly ways and he counted his friends by the number of his acquaintances. He was especially well known among the ball players, since he was at one time very active in this line of sports. He had been injured in a street car wreck in Kansas City, and it is believed that this ultimately was the cause of his death.
