Note:   Carl was born in Steinhude Nr. 210 and confirmed 1896 in Steinhude. He was a farmer and cattle feeder in Grand Island NE. He was naturalized in Valley County, Nebraska 3 October 1911. He took his wife and son Carol to Germany in 1920, returning aboard the Manchuria arriving in New York on 24 November 1920. They traveled again to Germany in 1924, returning aboard the Columbus, arriving 1 May 1924. He committed suicide.
