Note:   Or Helena. When she was a young woman, she returned to her native land for a visit. There she met and married Walter Utermueller. Soon after their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Utermueller moved to Valley County (Nebraska). One child was born to them. The marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Utermueller ended when he became dissatisfied with his adopted country and wished to return to Germany. Mrs. Utermueller had her maiden name returned to her. Her son, Walter, died in childhood. Soon thereafter, Miss Stobbe came to Grand Island. After a short stay here, she went to Rawlins, Wyo. She returned to Grand Island in 1938 after her retirement.
